Galleria Eugenia Delfini is pleased to announce its first participation at Miart , in the Emergent Section curated by Attilia Fattori Franchini with a bi-personal show by Catherine Biocca (1984, Rome) and Lorenzo Modica (1988, Rome).
The two artists will present works on canvas, paper and nylon made with oil, markers, pencils and synthetic clay, which oscillate between figuration and abstraction and more specifically between animation, comics, cartoons, advertising posters and digital gifs.
Both are interested in how images are generated and circulate from one dimension to another, their works investigate the image between images, the continuous movement of affirmation and negation of the figure, the surface as a space for the spontaneous emerging of figuration and abstraction.
