Lorenzo Modica: GLASS ACTION

IUNO hosts the launch of GLASS ACTION the new artist’s book by Lorenzo Modica, published by DITO Publishing (Rome) and designed by DITO Studio (Klim Kutsevskyy). The volume collects a series of images gathered online that document the inadvertent impact of birds against transparent surfaces — windows, shopfronts, and glass walls — leaving traces that are as fleeting as they are evocative.
The book presentation will take the form of a conversation between the artist Lorenzo Modica, curator Giulia Gaibisso, and publisher Martha Micali, and will be accompanied by an exhibition of a selection of Modica’s new works, created on transparent supports made of nylon and plexiglass.
